Harmonious Kitchen Receives a Nourish DC Grant

Harmonious Kitchen is honored to be one of 15 locally owned DC food businesses selected for a Nourish DC Grant. The grant is awarded by the Nourish DC Collaborative and administered by Capital Impact Partners, with support from the DC Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development.

Since 2017, we've shared authentic Japanese home-style cooking with our community through catering and ready-made meals. This grant helps us take the next step: growing from a catering-focused business into packaged foods and specialty ingredients you'll be able to find on store shelves. It will fund production supplies and upgrades to our technology systems.

As we grow, we remain committed to additive-free cooking, compostable packaging, and zero food waste.
